The hierographics in the great cave define the framework of the physical laws governing Anima Key. Life with Ari taught Jahniet the technique of analysis of an adverse situation for the discovery of the motivating conversion rates. He learned how to find the way to restore fantasy into reality.
Now, within the convoy of canoes, heading to the isle, a violent expulsion of gases from his butt, offers an appropriate occasion to recover, albeit on a temporary basis, any lost senses. Until the subsequent burst; heavier, like lightning and clap of thunder layered together, slowly sets a temporary end or mid-term pause in his delirium. Until the next lightning and clap of thunder occurs; and the next one or two. The future was sealed. A storm is coming.
Jahniet bounces around a combinational ecstasy and begins to inform the rest of the team about the things to come.
“The wind has already begun swirling and at some time, will drag ions between the black clouds that came from the east and the sea surface. It will create an accumulation of electrical charges in the clouds and a potential difference between the negatively charged cloud and a positively charged sea. The air between them is a poor conductor of electricity and thus loads will not be released so as to neutralize. In this way, the potential difference will continuously grow and will get too high values. So, when it receives such high values, there will be a punching in the air and an electric spark. POW, AIR!
From the dark clouds, an initial invisible relief, referred to as relief driver, will start and will proceed at a furious pace and tremendous speed towards the sea. The sea will respond with a relief of opposite polarity, called recall expansion.
Soon, the two evacuations will meet. It is very likely that the successive ramifications of the slots will stop over in our heads, because we are the highest object in the open! Lightning can enter through our bodies, eyes, ears, nose and mouth and, having penetrated the nervous system and blood, reach the sea. The consequence is the stoppage of the heart and lungs, and while the heart can reboot on its own, lungs need artificial respiration.
I propose we deal with this situation, starting now, by tying the canoes together in one body.
It was only yesterday, when we were preparing for the campaign to the isle, we sat, for the first time together after years and we ate, for the first time ever, soy beans. Just like the way we altogether drank milk from those beans, accordingly we will have to get off the body of the canoes!
For the first time ever, we will have to swim together to the isle, and form a horde with added thrust from soy beans! “”
Seven pounds of cooked dried soy beans, while very rich in fibers, covered about ninety percent of the members of the mission requirements in protein. The beans were a good source of antioxidant phytochemicals substances and were derived from the aquaponics cultures of Reese Cerussites, so they also were high in minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, iron and calcium, and provided no bad cholesterol, very suitable for those watching their diet.
It is true that the night before the mission, Oyan Humus praised Reese, for the first time after years, about the way he fed his fishes in his aquaponics system.
The water lentils Reese was using, was a very good idea to start with as it was put in separate, than the fish, cultivation bases with a softer flow. It grew better in calm waters and despite the fact that not all fish were ready to immediately take this feed; it still is the second smallest flowering plant in the world and can limit algae growth because it causes shading. Also, it floats and gets directly propagated over the water to produces oxygen, by sunlight, and to consume oxygen from the water on cloudy days and at night. These hours are the best to skim a little amount of water lentil in containers or bags and let it dry or freeze it for later on, when you can serve it as food for the fish.
It is important to say that the water lentil consumes more nutrients than other plants. It has a protein level of forty five percent, surpassing the level of soy. It also has many essential amino acids.
Finally that final day, the group ate soy beans, which grew on waste and secretions from fish that fed on water lentil and were cooked by Reese’s girlfriend, Ido Nincha and Ari’s queen, Fuso, supposedly in the right way, deservedly replacing milk protein and veal liver.
All in all, by eating soy beans and drinking the milk, the seven pilots filled their dish and glass with a high biological value protein, similar to that of meat.
Oyan always had his doubts about Fuso’s sharp evolution in the big tree rampart and now, opposed to the innovative rescue plan of Jahniet, the experienced supervisor, he protested so strongly against it, that not even his leader Ari could restrain him.
“This is not a plan, it is another scientific spoof! Ari can undertake this difficult work to get us to the isle unharmed. Just make him the regulator, throw him a rope and he will pull us with his strong paddle!
Oh, already I was skeptical about those nonsense you spoke of in the departure ceremony, about a dome that will protect us, but when I heard about this mission I changed my mind. I came to this place for one honorable last adventure afterall but now I am sure you are all unworthy.You must have infused the wine with bean’s milk or something and now you are all acting mad. An act of sabotage!”
The charges exceeded the limits. Oyan’s words echo in a sudden moment of absolute silence. Reese usually never lets accusations stand for long and resolves issues with reasoning, at least that is was is expected from him. “Just wait a moment! Allow me Jahniet to intervene and explain to Oyan two things… You have to have already learned how soy beans manage to grow and in the end gather in a big ball… Well, we too, although separated, have to cope… together…whether you are in or out.
For too long, the internal conflict of our race forced us to separately prepare our defenses. It took us all spring before the summer pirate battles began, to get ready. Though now we pursue a better goal, still again we waste time…
A proper cooking of dried soy beans requires only an overnight soaking in water and cooking also in water in the oven for only forty minutes. I assure you that during the first night in which we were united again after so many years, no one approached the soaking beans. Remember Oyan, that we were all gathered overnight in the same fire planning the campaign. Therefore, it appears that nothing was added to or removed from the soybeans we consumed, nothing more or less than already lost, precious time!”
“Meanwhile, I note lightning on the island that do not follow the rectangular top to bottom pattern, I mentioned earlier! They are spherical like luminous balls, from a few centimeters to a few meters in diameter, hovering just above the ground for a few seconds!” Jahniet intervenes and lets Reese complement once more.
“They, rather get their spherical form when the silicate rock soil gets vented from the upside down, from the bottom up lightning! Again we stand fortunate because this phenomenon is extremely rare and hardly detectable! I remember a really very interesting and impressive discovery I once made with the help of my space telescope. I found out that the unsuccessful brown dwarfs evolve similar extreme weather conditions.
Terrible storms rage very high intensity hurricanes, accompanied by dazzling lightning flashes while rain and snow of melted iron falls and heats the sand! These gigantic jets are produced not only in brown dwarfs and the Gaia, but eventually in other planets too, and are found in the atmospheric conditions on Dias, Kronos and Aphrodite.”
Completely stunned by space flying objects of knowledge, Oyan shows appeasement but surprised he notes that by now he is able to grasp the course of his comrades’ thoughts. In his turn, he complements the most alarming theoretical finding that the spherical lightning may come from Dias!
“Eh, leading intellectuals of the small cave, perhaps the planet Dias radiates and sends more radiation, added to the Helios’ waves, towards our Gaia. When the molecules of the Helios and Dias collide above the Gaia’s atmosphere, roads open. These roads, for an infinitesimal moment, are empty and then the concentrated power of the storm finds the opportunity to defuse, creating Thunderbolt! ”
“Oyan! What an impressive newly directed thought you formed, but you have put aside one of the most basic facts! It is night and a storm is coming! Neither Helios nor Selene shines now! So perhaps it’s the fart formations causing the lightning, after all?” Reese did not take long to respond and the rest laugh, forcing Oyan to crouch his head, laughter mixed with shame, disappointed for a moment there, thought his idea was great, then crouched with anger.
“So in a moment as it goes, it will dawn and we will still be paddling in the rain and the waves!” Oyan was heard shouting amidst thunders, lightning and farts while the storm had already arrived and broken out above their heads.
The buzz of the aircraft over the heads of the panicky convoy got confused with the voices and the sounds generated by the team, mixed with disco lightning storm, finally producing a hiatus of deafening frequencies.
The parachute dropping of Trina the stewardess from the aircraft was the part of the plan, in which the team was supposed to wait on the isle’s shore for aid and supplies. Nobody realized her approaching and her heart straight froze to the chest. The strong air currents that blew up there were quite enough to redirect the shot towards the seven canoes.
As expected, Trina screwed up on the sea landing. To avoid her demise, she began placing the center of her body mass at a rate that she had been taught by Oyan. It was the only way she knew to save the situation and at least she tried to.
A stretching right, two left, one leaning forward and from kyphosis to lordosis. The collision of her front airbags with Oyan’s rising head caused the erection of his kayak. Her crystallized nipples decapitated him and the red sea claimed them.
