Over the next year and after the pirates were coming and going whenever they wanted, bringing unrest, Ankel’s education continued.
In a parallel action, Ari’s attention was always focused on Fuso and snapped away only during the little boy’s hours of theatric swordsmanship. Ari soon was convinced that something had to be done as a counterweight to the demonstrative behavior of the teacher Adri. So only along with Fuso’s sporadic presence, he would call little Ankel at afternoons for private conversations.
Ari’s stories mainly included old pirates and their animosity toward Anima Key. In this way, little Ankel took many harsh nurturing ideas, ethical dilemmas, ideologies and worldviews which logically would eventually bring him opposed, if not conflicted, with his fencing tutor and the rampart of the small cave.

“I just tell you kid, allow me to call you kid King, that when you see danger coming, act immediately! Always remember the three big fish and their families that once lived in the waters of the great cave. As now so then, one afternoon, some pirates passed and hang out with the boat in the backwaters, and observed that the lagoon was filled with these rare big fish.
They said to each other, and while the three big fish were overhearing, that they had to come back prepared, the next day in a good morning time, to fish as much as they can and especially those large ones.
The first fish panicked and immediately called into council the remaining families. He announced the bad news and the decision to gather his own, leave and be saved; he proposed the rest to do the same.
The second big fish agreed and decided to follow the first.
But the third laughed right on their cowardice. He argued that this is the home of their ancestors and now theirs. For too long no evil had found them in these safe waters. They must not be frightened and leave, just because a few pirate men discussed such plans. So those who agree with him should stay and not leave for some unknown place with, who knows how many more risks.
The old stories also said that when the time comes nobody can escape the end. So if they are going to meet with it tomorrow morning, this meeting must be addressed with courage and bravery at home.
The fish were divided into two groups and those that were left behind were laughing at those who would leave ahead. With nothing to stop them, at night, in the darkness, the families of the two big fish had already left. Those who believed in them followed them out to the open sea, searching for a new home.
In their search they were unlucky, fell onto the pirate ship and not a single deserter fish was able to escape the fishermen’s nets. They over enjoyed their feast and forgot about the big cave and never returned.”

Little Ankel was taking upside down ideas, education and messages, while the end of his short course in Anima Key began with the famous trial that Ari had put, where he turned the beach upside down across again to win the prize of the scepter and peyote weapon. The proofs of a starter King.
How funny and dramatic at the same time was the fact that he managed to eat everyone’s sweets while he was supposed to be looking for clues across the region of Anima Key. He had to solve the puzzles found engraved on the stones of Aeolus.
At the end of the ball he succeeded all alone, and everybody had to stay uninvolved observers like the rules stated. Just like this, Ankel became King, and while being young, no one would ever really think about any future complications seriously enough.
