Landing on the beach and the sudden appearance of an elder armed and flashing red fisherman in his seventies, leads Aster and Eris to a very awkward encounter. The old man looked angry and the sweaty and wary couple wasn’t ready for their first grand psychedelic Anima Key experience.
In a horizontal frightening straight leap out of the sea, the elder Grizzly starts yelling on their melting faces, as if he wanted to completely scatter them in an instant.
“Welcome, general dry and curly red tassel, ha, ha, ha! I am Grizzly, just like Jahniet calls me. He told me you would arrive, so I went out for hunting, do not be scared, I’m done!”

“Go find him now and then come back to grab a bite and listen to a story or two. Of course, over there by the big tree, this story that Purpuras says to Ari; is mine I can recall too; I get angry that through his mouth gets another color, more alive … however, mine still remains, go there, sit and listen! Go!”

“…’n’ ther’, wher’ the strip’d seabr’m search’s to find som’thin’ to fill its hungry belly, digs black worms out o’ the sand! You listenin’ Ari?”
“Stretch listening, cap’n!”

“Them black worms! The way those things go in ‘n’ out o’ the sand, ‘s compar’d only to …those kayak’, reachin’ us from the sea, right now, look Ari, behin’ ya, that’s how black worms look! Hoy, what a nasty wave! Hoy, there’s two of ‘em ‘n’ that one in the back, ain’t lookin’ fine! But the one infront ‘s lookin’ worthy! I’d say a keen nav’gator he is, remember this, he’d be fishin’ sweets!”

“Daman look the other way, flanking us from the sacred path, another bunch of free campers comes, we should have binnacles to see them sweat, ha, ha! They are two, too, and they were heading towards this way but now they‘re aiming straight for Grizzly’s bunker. Had this huge wave frightened them, then they belong to Jahniet’s crew. Ha, ha, Anima Key offers us just another mysterious funny day, ha, ha, splash, bang, gup!” The chuckling of these two great men of the great tree, got pulverized, almost immediately, by sandblasting.
Dus Anka’s abnormal landing, the staggering wave threw her over the heads of Aster and Eris, catapulted so much sand that almost extinguished the fire that spread out around Daman’s legs. Those in turn were instantly buried, while Emil with his perfect docking kept staring the passing couple, as it was heading towards the rampart of the small cave, without words, making faces of shame.

“Wow Jahniet what was that that?”
“Whow, yes! Cool! The place served you appropriately, even those other two newcomers! Many arrivals in a day divided by only a small margin like a hair of Eris! Ha, ha, ha!
Woe to you geometrician, you made it after all, and you brought my historic map back! This item is still doing the job it was designed to when it brought me and my father here, where I’ve spent my childhood summers along with my friend, the half-buried half tough Ari!
Keeps persuading good folk on coming and offering great energy!
Oh the memories are as alive as our company!
Behold one of my first memories of Anima Key, Blanka, Grizzly’s wife, one of the old people, forgive me about that my lady, never meant it, though it’s true! New ones! Go on give your greetings and let us be gone to check out my rampart under the meteoric cliffs and sing to me news from the outside world!”

The pair of Aster and Eris accompanies their friend back to his rampart and his calm character along with his loose running movements of the upper limbs, hypnotizes Aster, offering him another psychedelic experience in the beach land of Anima Key.

Aster drifts into the calm figure of his friend Jahniet, in his loose rowing movements of the upper limbs. He is being hypnotized. There has been some time since the delusions of his youth appeared, but his heart is still running crazy. Visions appear to be endless, and every stimulus out there, around the convoy of seven canoes, becomes reason to enter new memory clouds.
Now, he hears the distant voices of Emil, something in the waters concerns him too. “Perhaps he begins in turn to see hallucinations.” thinks Aster.
Still fresh in his mind, there are the funny faces of Emil, remembering the corrugated and hyper comical Dusanka’s flight over his head, back then, in the distant two thousand and five, when they both arrived at Anima Key. Much has changed by now, but some spoiled the direction that would follow, already by then.
Aster remembers that of all the fighters of the race, Emil would always be chosen to lead convoys as the regulator which gives the rhythm during survival campaigns against the pirates’ fleet. He looked just like a worthy successor to the old and proud first people of Anima Key.
The group of seven canoes appears in a mingled formation, when Emil warns the fleet that he has detected a swarm of hunter fish. At this critical moment, in the most significant campaign ever undertaken by the tribe of Anemaki, he cannot be held, he wants to catch fish. He takes out his snorkeling gun from the tray and arms. The group of the remaining six canoes turns toward him and, puzzled, see him slowly fall into delirium.

“Parrots we will hunt, hunters we will parrot, sea breams we will squelch, to sea squids we will mumble, we are fishermen from another earth, man!
Remember the instructions of Oppianus of Korikas, about idle fishing with net, suits us well! Listen!
The fishermen place very light nets of treated flax, cyclically, as they violently hit the sea with their oars, to form a vortex around the edges of the circle with the net. The blows of the oars and the fuss they make, terrorize the fish towards the stationary net, thinking it as a refuge. Silly fish frightened by noise, enter the gates of their doom! Then, fishermen haul the net on both sides by ropes and lead it to shore.
I’ve equipped our pirogues with special net of this type and other methods of fishing. Trolling, traps, spears and tridents with a jagged and sharp ending. …mumbled sea breams, hunted parrots!”
