(#008) “Ari Malachites”

Ari’s oar splash

Finally, Ari splashes Emil’s delirious slander, with a deafening strike of his oar.
“Shut up, or else I’ll clobber the paddle on your head, you maniac fish freak. Our goal is neither fishing nor clobbering, though! Our goal here is the island. You must perform your service, down with bulimia! “

Ari raises the tone of whispers, and his wild expression, outlined on his face, calms only when he hears Fuso’s sweet voice. “You can paddle as you whisper, you’re the limit, so go and bring Emil back, he is moving away from the course!”

After sixty six winters in continuous Anima Key service in the rampart of the great tree, Ari whispers in Fuso that he recruited many undisciplined members like Emil. Always, in one way or another, he had to dispose of the rubbish and to correct skewed derogations. For years and even now, he has not ceased calling them executive crew.

Five of Seven Kayaks

New, emerging hallucinations of youth strike Ari like thunders that announce a lightning storm; they hit and stretch him at a right angle to the canoe, turning him into a lightning rod. Then they lower his gaze and in their turn they mutter old news.
Right before his coming of age, Ari witnessed the change of his uncle’s heart as he appeared all the less in Anima Key society. The old man’s separation from his wife contributed to the subsequent longing for isolation and meditation and eventually sent him to the ascetic meteoric rocks above the caves. This new secluded course undertaken by elder Daman, gave buff to the plump young Ari, to redefine his objectives. He lost weight by gaining power in increasingly difficult tasks such as digging with legs or burying with hands and he finally took the informal administrative role in the rampart of the big tree.

In the years that followed, Ari maintained a regular work accumulation, like the chopping of wood with double ax. By choosing this schizophrenic role of the leader and the subordinate, he made all new members feel that they should be protected under his resistant shield. In assuming all the hard services such as the repairs of the canoes, he implied that everyone should get prepared to do lighter but equally tiring, due to their large number, chores like the scaling of fish. None can distinguish what are the most difficult chores overall, but one thing is certain. There was imbalance manifested in an ever escalating desire for rivalry and competition, unto hostility, channeled towards the rampart of the small cave.

Back to the depth of the formation of the seven canoes, showing first signs of disarray, one of the oldest and ablest pilots intervenes and addresses over the staff to his leader.

“Well, these scientists of the small cave have long, completely, lost their mind! Ari, what happens to you, you lose pace and go, just like them, to the open sea. Where there are black clouds like worms. Do not forget! The power of Ari cannot be found in anyone else except him. I confirm this without fear and tremble! Get a grip chief!”
Oyan Humus was among the first who has helped shape the nature of the rampart of the large tree and now he sails along with the team in their final mission.
At first, he had come with his girlfriend, Trina the stewardess; both very young, got very quickly reconciled with the pseudo-hierarchical situation loomed in the rampart. In addition, Trina’s family was old fellow friends with Daman thus it wasn’t easy for them to choose otherwise. Surely in the years gone by, a lot more had come and were incorporated, confirming the validity of the rules, but Oyan and Trina were the first to give the example and with their choked voice, accept their secondary executive role.

The Witch

Ari, in a constant rising, tranced state of mind, comes to remember that his rampart got set off when the witch Dusanka appeared, an exceptionally intense case of a woman, with a positive stance, that came to be the one exception but also a pioneering guide to his future plans.

This metaphysical woman showed an insuperable aversion to all forms of authority, even to minimal physical or psychological violence, while, in a parallel action, her constructs were causing jealousy with their ornate details and a lot of comments about the supposedly, wrapping magic.
In connection to the situation in Ari’s stronghold and all of his authoritarian festival, the witch opposed resistance at any given opportunity. She soon realized that her husband Emil seemed snugly pulled to fit Ari’s state, and that urged her to end their stormy relationship.

Ari thought that since things went there, counterweight behavior was required so he expelled the witch from the party, with voices that were heard as far as the isle of thousand waves. Then, the despondent witch bowed her head and left the rampart of large tree, but at the final moment, she stood up for one last stand.
“Ari you have come between us and you are dominating us with such infernal fist, creating a momentum which travels through Emil back at me, making me feel pygmy. This burden renders me helpless to withstand this contradictive life. And now, I want to prophet cursed words and be gone. This contrast be splashed on to your friend, soon to be enemy, Jahniet, teaching you nothing until a bitter lonely end finds you! A hope for the best.”
