To jump meant abandoning the safety of paths, trusting gravity and water proving that fear had already been paid for elsewhere. This time, however, the leap was different.
Kerann, Verann, Rousann. would declare their intentions before the victorious tribe. All this endeavor of hoisting the flag at the safest high point of Anima Key exhausted them, crushing their deepest emotional points. The reasons that brought them to Anima Key are also intertwined in a flag. The one brought by their great king and father, Further.
As their father grew and became absorbed by power, he lost himself in the wealth he had acquired during the civil war. Gradually, the inspiring leader who inspired them to start the revolution of the Commons disappeared, as he himself characterized it in its inception. After the vision and contact with a virgin, classless society, exploitation of faith, betrayal, manipulation came. The concentration of all power upon him was so evident that none of the subjects of the homeland could show disobedience to submission. As scientists observed through Humble, Pluto’s satellites are even stranger than previously believed. Chaos is caused by the changing gravitational effects exerted on the four satellites by the gravitational field of the two central celestial bodies, Pluto and Charon…
If anyone lived on one of the satellites Hydra or Nyx, he would have a hard time setting his alarm clock because he wouldn’t be sure when and from where the Sun would rise (it might not rise at all), while each day or night would not have the same duration as the previous one.
New data from the Humble space telescope reveals that the satellites follow extremely strange and unpredictable orbital trajectories around Pluto. Additionally, they do not rotate around a fixed axis but oscillate irregularly, causing Pluto not to “see” the same hemisphere of its satellites every day (while the Moon always shows the same “face” to Earth).
So far, in our solar system, only Hyperion, Saturn’s moon, had been discovered to be in a similarly chaotic motion around its axis and its planet.
Astronomers, led by Mark Showalter of the SETI Institute in California, estimate that Pluto’s other two moons, Kerberos and Styx, “wobble” in an equally irregular manner, although this needs to be confirmed by future observations.
The close passage of NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft through the Pluto-Charon system in mid-July, at a distance of only 12,500 kilometers, will shed more light on the situation.
Pluto was considered the ninth planet of our solar system until 2006, when it was demoted to a dwarf planet, although reactions still continue regarding its demotion. With a diameter of 2,350 kilometers, it is smaller even than the Moon.
Charon, Pluto’s largest moon, was discovered in 1978 and is about half its size (diameter 1,207 kilometers). Essentially, it forms a “pair” with Pluto, constituting an idiosyncratic double planet, as both move around a common center of gravity, which is located somewhere in the space between them. Some scientists argue that the Earth-Moon system also constitutes a double planet, although in our case, the center of gravity is beneath the surface of the Earth and not in space.
The moons Nix and Hydra were discovered in 2005 by the Humble telescope, Kerberos in 2011, and Styx in 2012. Each of these moons has a diameter of only a few tens of kilometers, from 6.8 km for Styx, which is the smallest, to 45.4 km for Hydra, which is the largest moon, so until now, no ground-based telescope has managed to observe them.
